VIDEO & INVESTIGATIONS PRODUCER - INTERNATIONAL

Terms of Employment: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Reports to: Investigations & Video Production Director
Position Location: Remote - Global South natives and/or inhabitants are preferred. Residing in a time zone that allows frequent interactions with Southeast Asia is preferred.
Remuneration: To be defined according to location and experience.
Language requirement: Fluent in English and any national languages are an advantage (Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, and Bahasa).

Rated as one of the world’s most effective animal protection organizations by Animal Charity Evaluators, Sinergia Animal is an international campaigning organization working in countries of the Global South (specifically Latin America and Southeast Asia) to reduce animal suffering and promote more compassionate food choices.
We use negotiations, investigations, peaceful direct actions, and innovative campaigning methods to expose the suffering of farmed animals and to help build a world in which no animals are exploited for food.
About the position
Sinergia Animal is looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative video producer, editor, and investigations project manager to join our team. This person will be involved in both pre- and post-production processes for a variety of videos, focusing particularly on investigations.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for quick video editing

The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks across overlapping deadlines
Responsibilities

Help conduct or manage external researchers conducting in-depth research to plan investigations

Maintain and expand a network of researchers and videomakers responsible for conducting investigations

Help prepare detailed briefings and risk analyses for investigations

Review footage from field work and select best shots for video production

Help produce video scripts with an investigative tone and ensure accuracy of claims made

Edit videos for investigations and other programs of the organization (including scripts, research, improvements, and editing)

Keep up to date with the latest trends and research good references for videos Sinergia Animal can use as inspiration

Create and/or update templates for videos (titles, end screens, captions, etc)

Create 2D animation (fonts, characters)

Keep Sinergia Animal's media center and video library organized and updated
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for quick video editing.

Experience with Adobe After Effects is preferred.

Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, X, and other video and digital media platforms.

Filming experience is preferred.

Passion for digital media, journalism, and fast-paced content production.
