Rated as one of the world's most effective animal protection organizations by Animal Charity Evaluators, Sinergia Animal is an international campaigning organization working in countries in the Global South (specifically Latin America and Southeast Asia) to reduce animal suffering and promote more compassionate food choices.
We use negotiations, investigations, peaceful direct actions, and innovative campaigning methods to expose the suffering of farmed animals and to help build a world in which no animals are exploited for food.
About the position

This role is perfect for someone who excels in research, negotiation, and fostering partnerships with companies to create meaningful progress for animal welfare. Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Researching and building a database of food companies' profiles, policies, and key contacts.

Researching and developing materials for companies about our animal welfare asks.

Hosting corporate meetings and preparing presentations for different stakeholders, including executives, directors, and producers, to persuade companies to adopt animal welfare policies in their supply chains.

Establishing permanent contact with key corporate contacts, via emails, phone calls, and meetings.

Supporting projects within our corporate engagement department.

Representing Sinergia Animal at public events and within the animal protection community at large.

Building alliances with other international and grassroots NGOs.

Travelling regionally, as necessary, to meet contacts.

Supporting, executing, or coordinating any other activities when necessary.

Carrying out other activities assigned by the supervisor, director, and/or president and following all procedures set by Sinergia Animal.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess most, if not all, of the following qualities, skills, and characteristics:

Advanced/fluent English

Excellent oral communication, writing, and proofreading skills

Excellent research skills

Proven ability to work both independently and in close coordination with a remote team

Must be able to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects

Strong time management skills

Commitment to the mission and objectives of the organization
