FOOD POLICY INTERN - COLOMBIA

Location: Remote

This position is preferably for Black, Indigenous, trans people, and people with disabilities.

 

Terms of Employment: Internship (30 hours a week)

Reports to: Food Policy Manager - Colombia

Position Location: Remote - Colombia

Remuneration: €183/Month

Language requirement: Fluent Spanish and Intermediate English

About the position

Are you a person who’s passionate about helping animals, humans, and the planet by promoting a plant-based diet to private and public institutions? If so, this may be an exciting opportunity for you. Sinergia Animal is offering a paid internship vacancy for the Alimentando el Mañana Program in Colombia. The Intern will be involved in institution engagement, program implementation, communication, and social media creation.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the institutional engagement and outreach process and implementation of Alimentando el Mañana in Colombia

  • Creating and collaborating on content for social media posts

  • Supporting with any other activities requested by the manager and directors of Sinergia Animal, including but not limited to helping to create reports, compiling social media data and stats, and translations from English to Spanish

  • A great team player but can also work independently

  • An affinity with animal rights issues and a vegan lifestyle is highly desirable

  • Commitment to the mission and objectives of the organization
