Rated as one of the world's most effective animal protection organizations by Animal Charity Evaluators, Sinergia Animal is an international campaigning organization working in countries of the Global South (specifically Latin America and Southeast Asia) to reduce animal suffering and promote more compassionate food choices.
We use negotiations, investigations, peaceful direct actions, and innovative campaigning methods to expose the suffering of farmed animals and to help build a world in which no animals are exploited for food.
About the position
Are you a graphic designer passionate about creating a better world for animals and you just graduated and have no or little professional experience? If so, this may be a great opportunity for you. Sinergia Animal is seeking a Design Assistant (Junior Graphic Designer) that is willing to gain experience while helping animals. You will be responsible for helping Sinergia Animal with materials for social media, campaigns, street actions, and our websites.
Under supervision, design and prepare files for final delivery for print and digital formats, like brochures, billboards, banners, newsletters, etc.
Review and improve materials drafted by the team.
Design materials for our social media networks (Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook).
Reinforce the brand guideline adherence and maintenance.
Create web pages drafts/design, apply them to Wix, and keep them up to date.
Perform any other project or activity required by the communications department.
Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.
Ability to learn and work with platforms such as Google Workspace, Monday, and Canva.
Ability to follow a style guide/concept and produce final art for both print and digital.
Fluent in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Desirable knowledge of web design and Wix.
Focused attention to details.
Energetic and highly creative.
A can-do attitude.
A great team player who can also work independently.
An affinity for animal rights issues and a vegan lifestyle is highly desirable.
